The School Community Council is a group made up of parents and school employees that serve the children of our school. They create a school improvement plan, develop a child access routing plan, a reading achievement plan and decide how to spend the School Land Trust money that is given to each school every year. The council goes over data of the students and makes decisions on academic plans that will help the school such as double dose, STAR reading program and flex time. Members of the council are voted in by the parents of the school. These plans are submitted to the district and to the State Legislature. Any parents are invited to all of our meetings to voice their opinions and concerns about the school. All viewpoints are welcome.
